Oh what a lovely day. It was warm and sunny as we set off on our walk.
The first of many bridges we were to cross today.
The bigger they are, the harder they fall.
Your wasting your time John. There's no way it's gunna move.
It's no use gettin a paddy on, I said it wouldn't move.
Enjoying the warmth of the sun in pleasant surroundings.
Bridging the years.
I wonder what Anthony's been up to.
A green and pleasant land.
The bridge that we were scheduled to cross had fallen victim to one of the many toppled trees.
An alternative crossing had to be found.
Someone's put their foot in it.
A farmers gate with a difference.
The Shepherds church.
Visitors are welcome to have a look round, so we did.
A final coffee break before taking the muddy path along the river back to the cars. A very enjoyable walk, and not a nettle to be seen. You pessimists. DK
