A BRIEF REPORT FROM OUR FOREIGN CORRESPONDENT

VIVA ESPANA !

FLYERS :- Martin, Danny & John W,

Three of our Meanderthal worthies recently departed from the usual routine for a short visit to foreign shores - SPAIN !  To the Costa del Sol.  To a town called Albir and the hotel "Kaktus".

It is not the writer's intention to present a travelogue but simply to illustrate a few activities with possibly a little relevance to Meanderthalism.

During their stay the Costa definitely SOL-ed. Up to
30 degrees centigrade on one day.

We met some seemingly familiar figures.
 Pendle witches perhaps ?

This lady wandered around the hotel lounge backing away and cackling loudly whenever she was approached.

We climbed high into the mountains.  Erm ! Well the comfortable coach we were seated in did.

 We explored dark caverns.

Inhabited by strange beasts - Not well fed apparently.

Here we also met some Meanderthal forbears

Not all of them as healthy as this gatekeeper.

We visited Churches (Altea)

and fabulous modern Architecture (Valencia )

We even visited a Palm Tree Museum and it doesn't get much more exciting than that !

Of course we had to visit our near neighbour Benidorm !

 It was rather busy

There was lots more to see but as this was not strictly a "Match Report" we shall leave with just a few shots to prove the Meanderthals were really there.

 And so "Hasta la Proxima"

A friend of yours Danny ?

I think John has taken his diet too far.

Meanderthals as Bookends !
Kaktus Hotel or Strangeways ?
