Spain 2019

Five Meanderthals, John W, Danny, Mike H, Martin and Anthony are spending a week in 'Sunny Spain', staying in the resort of Huelva, on the southern coast, close to the border with Portugal.

The back of our hotel, facing the sea but we can't see the sea!

On the first morning, the Saga rep (centre) took us an 'orientation' walk around the locality.

Mike and Martin are hanging on his every word!

One of the many 'boardwalks' between the hotel and the beach.

Another boradwalk...The area is famous for its bird-watching.

Now we can see the sea!

Part of our hotel gardens

Too early for a swim!!

But not too early for a drink...
In the afternoon the coach took us a short distance over the border into Portugal ...... and Mike (The Bike) found himself a new one!

Meanwhile, Anthony takes the bull by the horns....sorry....it's a cow!

Guess which one is Martin!

Danny doesn't want to be left out....

Later in the afternoon we took the ferry back across the Guadino river into Spain.

Approaching Ayemonte on the Spanish side of the river.
