More Photos

Leaving Downham on a lovely sunny autumn day.

Within minutes we were out in the countryside

One man and his dog........Where's that dog gone?

The compulsory bridge photograph

A most unusual direction indicator next to a style. The star symbol was repeated on some posts we came across during our walk.

Climbing up some high rising steps to a road......

........From where there were some lovely views across the valley. Anthony pointed out Yorkshires three peaks of Whernside,
Pen-y-Ghent and Ingleborough, which were more distinguishable than in this photograph.

It just fell over, honest!

Has the H.S.E. inspector been this way?
Ingleborough in the background.

ZZZZ

An unusual gate but it served its purpose admirably
Stand back, somethings coming........

......Wow!

And so, back to Downham.......

.......With Pendle Hill looming up in the background.

And a welcome glass of shandy, courtesy of Martin as usual.
Cheers Martin.
