Bolton Abbey itself is situated in a very picturesque location. The religious order that arrived here all those centuries ago must have also been likewise impressed. |
Having crossed to the other side of the river, we headed back along the opposite bank, back towards The Strid. For those of us who have not fully matured, there were various obstacles to negotiate. |
