The weather forecasts today were conflicting. Harry, our own weatherman predicted that the rain was not far away. Here we have glass half full. (no leggings ), followed by glass half empty.

This could have been a lovely rural scene, were it not for all the rubbish.

Someone has taken great pains, to make sure these trees grow straight.

Leaving the venue of our elevenses the weather had broken as Harry predicted. Glass half empty is gloating

The line of the footpath across the golf course was not clear but
keeping to the line of the trees we arrived at the bridge we had to cross.

Lunchtime by the canal.

Some with stools took shelter under a bridge for lunch. Butties eaten, and the weather looked like it was improving.

The respite from the rain was short lived. Here we are, back at the cars for the short journey home.
