The long and the short of it is. This weeks walkers fall into two categories. The sensible and the foolish. I am numbered among the latter. The improperly dressed, for one of Johns walks. |

Leaving the River Ribble behind we set off in search of Nettles. |
The undefined paths on this walk and the reaction of the animals, led us to believe that few people passed this way. |
The donkey in the picture, also did not appear to be familiar with human kind, (or even meanderthals) and seemed to regard the horse as its guardian and protector. |
