This weeks walk started from Stanley Park in Blackpool. We made our way to the fountain which is surrounded by well maintained flower gardens. This picture is looking back towards the clock tower,
dedicated to William Henry Cocker, the first mayor of Blackpool
After skirting the lake we exited the park, entered the grounds of
Blackpool Victoria Hospital by a public footpath that runs along the
edge. Passing the last building we left the grounds by this gate and
followed a path that cut across the golf course.
This woodland picnic site proved an ideal spot for our morning brew.
My apologies for the short blog but I am struggling with a technology that has insists on taking control out of my hands.
